The Architecture THAT "COMMUNITY"
On 30 January 1957, the Sydney Morning Herald published a front page next to the photo and the name of its author, the Danish architect Jørn Utzon, a view of the winning project - designed specifically for the papers - completely out of stylistic practices, the sprawling shape of a cover made from something vaguely resembling a whole bunch of different times to the shell.
Apart from the specific sign of criticism that greeted the design of future great Australian drama, it appeared that architecture in any event, in its absolute originality, as an object unclassifiable.
